📜 HISTORY
The FUTSAL — Obalende Street Soccer Championship was established to revive grassroots football culture and provide a structured competitive platform for young talents within Obalende and surrounding communities.
The 2025 edition, proudly named in honour of Dr. Kolawole Peregrino, marked the inaugural tournament and introduced a fast-paced 3-a-side knockout format, celebrating creativity, speed, discipline, and raw street football skill.
📌 ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
The tournament concluded with an energetic showcase of grassroots football, drawing youths, residents, and respected community leaders.
Hosted by Hon. Oladimeji Kehinde Hassan, the event welcomed Dr. Kolawole Peregrino, Hon. Bola Oladunjoye, and Ward A leaders.
